How our New Furniture Collection Focuses on Quality vs Quantity

Sooo many designers that have taken to the internet to sell have turned to creating collections and concept boards using retail furniture. Trust me I know – I’ve been there. When it comes to starting an online design firm, you want to make good design accessible, but it’s hard to picture that without using those well-known retail stores like Crate & Barrel or West Elm. These are examples of brands that have a large following and make it easy to shop their website.

But, the whole point of working with a designer is that you get something that not everyone has, free from trends, and getting to the root of what makes your soul sing. That’s why I created this collection, to help you shop for quality furnishings that speak to your individual style.

Why OnSideDoor?

OnSideDoor is a new designer resource that makes typically to-the-trade only furniture available for our communities. Without having to create accounts with vendors individually, we can use their furniture and decor without having to go through the typical hoops or strive to meet their minimum purchase amounts.

OnSideDoor allows us to create a home shop for you, without having to worry about the logistics of shipping, receiving, billing, etc. It is truly a forward step in making quality furnishings hand-picked by designers accessible to the public. This is why I’ve chosen to partner with them in creating my online home store!

The Fall/Winter Collection

I’m so excited to be bringing my own home furniture collection to my website using this program. It has seriously opened the doors up so much for my business and how I work with my clients. Here are some of the things I kept in mind while creating this collection:

• Using pieces that I would spec for any of my 1:1 clients – I wanted items that spoke true to my signature design style, things that will bring more of my ideal clients to my platform.

• Items I’ve added are quality pieces – Using to-the-trade vendors sort of speaks for itself. The furniture may have a higher price tag, but that’s because it’s made with solid, sturdy, and quality materials inside and out. Although the look may be comparable to something you can find at a big box store, the frame, cushions, and fabric are built to last.

• Ability to mix and match – All of the items in the collection work well together. I’ve already created 9 different concepts from this collection alone! The possibilities are truly endless and can be used to fit your needs.

Who’s it For?

These quality furnishings will work best for those ready to invest in their space. I envision these pieces being used in your residential home, in a vacation rental, or even a sitting area in your small business.
