Have you ever walked into a place and something just felt…off? I always feel that way when you walk into a full ass wooden cabin up north. I honestly hate it, and thought it was because it was boring- but now I’m realizing that the energetics were off because of the overwhelming amount of wood in the space, linking to the earth element in Feng Shui. When you slap wood on the floor, walls, and ceiling, it’s hard to bring balance within the rest of the space. (Can you tell I have a complex about northern Wisconsin?) Let’s go over the elements of Feng Shui, and a few ideas I’ve found online on infusing the elements into your short term rental.

Finding Balance
Much like finding balance in your life is important, it is also true for your interior designs. With design you control how a person interacts with a space, and the energetics that go into that. Feng Shui is just a part of finding that balance, whether it’s in your own home or in a vacation rental.
If your space is feeling out of alignment, you can add the items I’ve included above to help bring balance quickly and easily. I’m sure you noticed too, I included a few doubles within the different sections because I wanted you to see that some items can help in more than one area of Feng Shui.
