Benjamin Moore’s 2024 color of the year, Blue Nova, is a captivating and versatile shade that brings a sense of tranquility and modern sophistication to any space. This deep, celestial blue is inspired by the vastness of the night sky, creating a timeless and calming ambiance. Whether used as an accent or as the main color in a room, Blue Nova effortlessly adds a touch of elegance and serenity, making it a perfect choice for interior design enthusiasts seeking a contemporary and soothing aesthetic.
In working through my onboarding process with Havenly, I needed to create a few portfolio pieces to showcase my work and learn any updates to their proprietary program that have happened in the last year I’ve been out. I decided this was the perfect time for me to explore and work with various company’s Color of the Year selections! I decided to go with Benjamin Moore’s Blue Nova first, as I felt it was the perfect calm and serene color to carry us through our dreams at night. Also – my baby’s name is Nova so I can’t not work with it.
I wanted to share this work with you today, so here are some alternatives to the selections that are available to the public. Will you add any of these items or paint any space inspired by this color? Let me know in the comments!

These are my favorite pillow inserts – perfectly karate choppable and easy to refresh. Make sure to purchase one size larger than the pillow cover you purchase, it’ll make sure your pillows look nice and full and not so drab.
I adore Samplize! I’ve been using them throughout my home renovation, and will continue to use them with all of my clients! They are perfect, no damage, stick on samples that you can move throughout your room. They are painted (not printed) so you’ll get the most accurate representation in your space, without the hassle of painting swatches.
