Modern Farmhouse design trend is evolving on the daily. Where we used to see stark white and bright interiors with shiplap & word signs everywhere, we are heading into a more rustic, warm, and charming aesthetic. I’m loving the way this is going, as someone who is living in a 1908 farmhouse in Wisconsin, I’m grateful to see the trend changing into something a little more unique and grounding.
Today, I wanted to write about how to style your home in a more aligned way, without feeling the need to start from scratch. I’m hearing people are starting to detest farmhouse (shiplap get’s a yuck these days), but sometimes, we just need to work around these quirks because we don’t have the money to reinvest in our homes as the trends change. I’ll be sharing some items to help style your shelves that mesh well with your existing farmhouse style, while updating your space into a more timeless aesthetic that will help you love your home again!
