As we start thinking about renovating our home, I’ve been struggling with the urge to do some spring cleaning & refreshing to our home. We have this white and super shaggy rug in our living room that is a few years old, and is IMPOSSIBLE to vacuum. Yet, I must persevere. I don’t want to get rid of it without having a replacement, but I also don’t want to get a replacement until we’re ready to do a full redo of the living room. What can I say, I’m an all or nothing type of gal.
With that being said, I wanted to create a round up of some of my favorite rugs for the new season, and maybe I can live vicariously through you in my desperate time of need.

Our OnSideDoor Collection
OnSide Door is an amazing platform specifically where interior designer’s can curate collections of to the trade only furniture & decor (AKA, you must be working with a designer who has accounts with these vendors) to sell to their clients, followers, and friends! They’ve got lots of good stuff this season, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite rugs for the collection I’ve pulled together for the season.
Our Ruggable Faves
There’s nothing better than a washable rug. This brand has taken Instagram by storm, and have a wonderful and well curated selection of rugs. They’ve also had some amazing brand partnerships over these past few years, with big names like Disney or Star Wars to do a little name drop. I think the branded rugs would be a cute little nod in kids (& kids at heart) rooms, or even a video game room which is becoming more and more popular! Check out a few of my favorites below, and can you guess which one I have picked to go into my Living Room when we remodel?! 😉
Affordable Options from Boutique Rugs
Boutique Rugs is an amazing resource for great rugs on a budget. Consumers these days are very budget-conscious on things that will likely be ruined, either by their kids, their pets, or themselves. 🙋🏼♀️ Purchasing rugs on a budget doesn’t have to be a headache, and they have their own washable line of rugs now too! Here are a few of my favorites for this upcoming season:
Are you starting to get the spring cleaning & update bug? Let me know in the comments what you’re tackling first! I’ve been decluttering my clothes, old winter outerwear that no longer fits, shoes, and knitting supplies I know I won’t use or ever get around to finishing. I’m trying my best to avoid purchases as it sounds like we’ll be working on a renovation this summer!
